The WETFAG app gives the health care provider direct access to the important factors in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of children.
WETFAG is an acronym for:
Weight,
Energy,
Tube,
Fluid,
Adrenaline and
Glucose.
When tending to a critically ill child in the ER, ICU or ward the clinician using this app will have access to the accurate dose of Adrenaline/Epinephrine, Fluid Bolus, Glucose/Dextrose Bolus, Electric Chock Energy and size of Endotracheal Tube. And this only by typing in the weight of the child or estimating the values by typing in age.

WETFAG-calc is based on the Advanced Pediatric Life Support WETFAG-mnemonic, and uses the weight based doses that are taught in APLS-courses.
Weight however is not calculated but more accurately derived from growth carts.
Energy for defibrillation is calculated as 4 joule per kg.
Tracheal tube size and ETT top to nose/lips -distance is derived from the typical weight of each age, and not calculated by age as taught in APLS-courses. Consider this when treating obese and underweight children.
Fluid Bolus dose is calculated as 10 and 20 ml/kg.
Adrenaline/Epinephrine dose is calculated as 0.01 mg/kg.
Glucose/Dextrose dose is calculated as 5 ml/kg of 10% solution.
WETFAG-calc also gives the appropriate size for Laryngeal Mask Airway based on the weight recommendations of the manufacturer.
